2025年も終わりが見えてきた今日この頃。今年最大級の素敵カフェが東京・丸の内に誕生しました！
昭和初期に建てられた建物で、国の重要文化財にも登録されている「明治生命館」。その1階に広々としたカフェがオープンしたのです。
大理石に囲まれた贅沢な空間に、座り心地の良いソファ席がゆったりと配されたカフェスペースは、正直言葉を飲むほどの美しさ…。時代が時代なら、選ばれた人しか入れなかっただろうと思うと感動もひとしお（今の時代で良かった！）。
カフェのある1階＆2階は見学無料の展示スペースにもなっていて、GHQ接収時代にマッカーサーも訪れたという会議室（半沢直樹のロケ地でもある）なども間近で見ることができます。家具や調度品の保存状態も良く見応え抜群です。
なんでもない通路まで本当に素敵で、2階の吹き抜けから見下ろすカフェの佇まいなんかはまるで映画の中の世界に入ったような気分に。

One of the best cafes of 2025 has opened in Marunouchi, Tokyo!
The Meiji Life Insurance Building, built in the early Showa period and registered as a national important cultural property, is a spacious cafe that has opened on its first floor.
The cafe space, with its luxurious marble-surrounded space and comfortable sofas generously arranged, is honestly breathtakingly beautiful. It’s even more moving to think that in a different era, only high-ranking individuals would have been able to enter. (I’m so glad to live in this day and age!)
In addition to the cafe on the first floor, the second floor also serves as an exhibition space that’s free to visit, and you can even enter the conference room that MacArthur visited during the time the building was seized by GHQ. The furniture and fixtures are well preserved and are well worth seeing.
Even the corridors are beautiful, and the view of the cafe from the second-floor atrium makes you feel like you’ve entered a movie-like world.
